Throughout April, we have assisted the most important sites across the UK in the fight against COVID-19 by providing them with Industrial Cleaning Equipment. Not only has the equipment ensured that wards and sites can be thoroughly cleaned, but it has helped to prevent the spread of infection, in turn, offering protection to both patients and the NHS staff working tirelessly around the clock.
At the start of April, National Account Manager James Dennis assisted the Nightingale Hospital in London by providing them with a MIC 35 Road Sweeper, B150 Scrubber Dryer and B250 Scrubber Dryer.
The machines were used to keep the site clean during the initial build phase and are now being employed during its operation as a COVID-19 Hospital.
Speaking on the delivery, National Account Manager James Dennis said “We reacted on very short notice having only received the go-ahead late on Friday afternoon and managed to deliver at the Nightingale Hospital early this morning thanks to the efforts of our Engineers and Demonstrators who made the early delivery.”
In addition to supplying the Nightingale Hospital in London with Industrial Cleaning Equipment, we have also supported and facilitated the build of the GMEX Hospital in Manchester.
Hiring a Karcher B 90 R Compact Ride-On Scrubber Dryer and two Karcher B 40 Pedestrian Scrubber Dryers, Site Welfare Services were able to thoroughly clean and prepare the GMEX Hospital for patients, prior to opening. The machines were deemed pivotal in the cleanliness of the operation as the build went under way.

Furthermore, we have also allocated Scrubber Dryers to Doncaster Hospital and The Grange University Hospital. The Scrubber Dryers have helped restore wards ready for an increase in patients and continue to be employed to ensure hygiene standards are adhered to.
