The Kärcher KM 85/50 sweeper is a walk-behind, self-propelled sweeper. It is extremely user-friendly due to it’s low weight, quiet operation, excellent manoeuvrability and handling due to it’s compact design.  The KM 85/50 has a sweeping speed about 4.5 km/h, a roller brush with V-shaped bristles for optimal dirt collection and high quality results. The waste container is extremely easy to remove and empty.

Equipped with a traction drive and a 50 litre mobile waste container complete with a dust separator, this unit is ideal for regular sweeping of areas of 300sqm or more.

Efficient filter system

The vacuum system collects and filters fine dust in the washable polyester filters.

Traction drive

The powerful traction drive allows the sweeper to travel gradients up to 18%.

Suitable for multiple applications

The floating main roller brush works for various types of floor.

Delivery and Collection

We’re not able to offer delivery or collection on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays.

Your machine will be delivered between 8am and 5pm on your chosen rental start date (excluding Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holidays). Please ensure the correct person is present at the delivery address between these hours to sign for the machine and receive any training needed. If you have any questions please call us on 0345 222 8000.

You must call us on 0345 222 8000 or email [email protected] to terminate the Hire and obtain an ‘Off Hire Number’ on the last working day of the Hire period. Hires are not automatically terminated.

If the requested machine isn’t available we reserve the right to offer an alternative machine, alternative Hire dates, or cancel and refund the order.

Servicing And Maintenance

At Kärcher Hire, we understand sometimes machines break down, we prioritise keeping your business running smoothly with our best-in-class response to any breakdowns. In the unlikely event of a malfunction, our expert technicians will be onsite within 24 hours to repair your machine. If we are unable to repair the machine, we will exchange the faulty machine within 48 hours. For long-term rentals of 12 months or more, we provide annual service visits according to manufacturer recommendations to minimise unexpected downtime. Our proactive maintenance and rapid response ensure your cleaning machine remains operational, giving you confidence and peace of mind to complete the job.

What happens when I am finished with the machine?

It is your responsibility to off hire the equipment when you no longer need it. To avoid aborted journey’s we do not accept auto off hires and you must contact the hire team to obtain an off-hire reference. An off-hire reference will be provided to confirm the off hire and a collection date will be scheduled. To off hire please contact us.
